ABOUT US
Gerhard Moore started as an apprentice in 1992 at Steven’s Engineering, importers of Same Deutz Fahr and was trained by Luigi Reccanati. Gerhard qualified as a tractor mechanic in 1993 at the Same Deutz Fahr factory.
In 2007 after 15 years in the trade, Gerhard established GM TRACTORS (PTY) LTD in Stellenbosch, Western Cape obtaining a dealership from Eqstra Agri the present importers of Same Deutz Fahr. The workshop proved to be a valuable asset to the region. As the company continues to expand the emphasis is still on Gerhard’s core values of delivering first class service and support.
At GM TRACTORS we are a team of nine people with four field service vehicles. We go from farm to farm and do minor repairs and services on site. For major jobs we use our truck to collect on the farm and repair in our fully equip workshop.
We stock 95 persent of Same parts on the popular Frutteto orchard and vineyard range.
